Platform by Cynthia Johnson is brilliant work!
It's part history lesson and also part college course that shows people the in's and out's of developing a strong personal brand.
At around 200 pages, it's a very easy book to read and I enjoyed the mix of personal success stories as well as some practical steps you can use today to build your personal brand.
Of course...I try to tie in everything I learn by reading into steps we can take here on Steem!

Authenticity is SO important & it is something I am always emphasizing. When one is their authentic self, they are bringing something to the world that no one else can bring in the same way. Consistency & showing up every day combined with authenticity are the key components to a winning formula.

This one really got my attention as my journey here on Steem has really led me down the personal branding rabbit hole. I have to admit that I have stopped with reading these type of books... Not because they are bad, just because I've got involved in other things (trying to learn other foreign language), so I am now in "comic book" area... loool... Sound childish, but there are great masterworks in that field, too... (and it is easier to read in Spanish)
Anyway, the book that you have reviewed sounds awesome, and it really gets into the bullseye... From your words it looked like it is written directly for Steem, and you did a great review... I would say that you have transferred some great thoughts and make it "real"... It was like that it is written for everyone of us here on board...

Just trying to put some pieces together for how to market Steem to affiliate marketers, I just released my ebooks on Steem with the basics for how to use it for blogging, also featuring SteemSavvy for more info by the way.
So now I try to find the right angle to get affiliates to join, the why so to speak, while the ebooks handle the how.
Trying to get affiliates to join me on Discord does not really fit that narrative, even though it works great on Steem.
Just hoping that @engrave will release the updates they promised, so that the editor and images works on both computers and phones, it's a great dApp otherwise since you can have your own .com domain on your Steem blog with SEO and such.
