After a week of fantastic questions asked by the community, it's time to dive into the answers :)

We had some great feedback, questions and comments over the past 7 days and today I go over the answers and hopefully help people on their journey.

The #RoadTo100SP starts with YOU taking action each and everyday...So I encourage you to post your comments here and take part in the discussion.

  • What are you stuck on?
  • Do you have trouble finding content?
  • Are you having issues with motivation?
  • What is stopping you from reaching 100 SP?

All questions will be upvoted by yours truly...And the best questions will be awarded with @steembasicincome units!

I hope you found this valuable and thanks again for taking part in this initiative!

I think that you explained this concept @jongolson was with great patience and simplicity. This is a great initiative and I think it will encourage and motivate the heart and soul of many others. Great Job. May You Always be Blessed. #zap

I started leasing delegated sp after I crawled my way to 60 of my own sp. Then everything took off. At that point I needed 500 for the slider, so that was my goal at first.

The other things I did and still do is comment 30-50 times a day and follow everyone good I run into. My big network helps a lot.

oh absolutely. the more you are seen and add value to others posts the better. and it’s so true about teaching that first goal. once you hit that anything is possible.

Very informative post man! Great questions asked and answered. I had no clue what the advanced feature in dtube was either.
This is a good initiative, road to 100sp , it really can be hard to stay motivated when you just start out and as you said we need to do more for the community and back these initiatives ! I shall be looking out for more new steemians and teaching them about steemsavy and link777.
Keep up the good work man!

appreciate the comments and feedback sir.

yeah motivation is tough. you need to get inspired every day.....which is the extra hard part lol i’ll go over a few tips next week and throughout the week as well!!

I hear Steem Monsters and i also hear passion
So I know Steem Monsters according to many is the one that’s going to take Steem to the moon but I have never been a gamer... 😭😭

So I will stick to what I know and let my kids get in instead haha

Trust you had a great time with the family over Christmas 😊

Happy New Year to you and yours @jongolson

you too :)

Well I am over the 100 sp now but I still have trouble with coming up with quality content for my blog.
I am sure most new folks will have the same problem.

Posted using Partiko iOS

you know what helps me. lol and it’s broken record lol

reading.

i get sooooo many ideas from books. i literally have content to write everyday from a few chapters in a book i’m reading :)

To me, it wasn't hard at all to reach 100sp with the support from community. I joined @teammalaysia when I first started Steemit and got alot of support. And I had learned to power up often so it was not a problem. And when u wanted to reach 500sp I joined @paulag in some sort of league like road to 500sp or minnow road. I forgot the name.

And it motivates me to keep power up to reach there.

Your road to 100sp will certainly give a boost to many. Super love this initiative.😉👍👍👍

#zap

for sure. there are some awesome communities and members doing all they can to grow the platform.

each of them are helping us grow and empower every steemian on the blockchain.

Awesome interaction and seeing more education being distributed which is great! I have also loved using @steembasicincome to incentivize engagement. Given the low price of Steem, it is a great time to distribute as much as we can as it is a great way to motivate engagement across the ecosystem. I am here to stay now that I found your content and this effort!

Posted using Partiko iOS

for sure. yeah the ‘middle class’ will be growing here on steem because the low prices allows us to stack up. i know i have been trying to lol

Posted using Partiko iOS

I'm looking forward to that @jongolson. Tips & advice are always warmly appreciated. Thank you for writing about this. Yes. Motivation is the key 🔑. Could you add a little more about motivation because I'm sure we all need this. In 5~10 words, what usually or mainly motivates you?

Posted using Partiko Android

great question.

i mean my wife and kids!

that gets me going everyday. to provide for them and make sure they have everything they need :)

Posted using Partiko iOS

Well truely speaking first of all thank to you for your engagement. I am follwing you and try to watch every day what you do because you are engaging with us and that is really appriciated ,to you. Because i follow some more people on this platform but sone people responding or dont respond it is tollally up to them but you always atleast reply us and that help us all to keep in mind that this guy have a proper value of his follower. Good one go ahead keep it up dude.

it’s my number one pet peeve on steem man. i stopped even commenting and upvoting certain ‘steem originals’ because they rarely if ever respond to comments. blows my mind why people don’t at least respond to comments. it’s the real value for me!

Posted using Partiko iOS

Thats correct we are reading as a follwer their post and then even they dont have time to reply their follwer thats really hard for follwer as well to keep commenting and messaging a person who is not even responding to him.

Posted using Partiko Android

ya man. i have no idea why people do that here. it literally takes a minute or a few seconds to reply.

Well I have more than 100 SP but I can tell you when I first started posting it was really easy to get Steem power. It seemed like the new posts that had any value whatsoever were constantly getting upvoted by things like @curie and various different whales.

This was before the Advent of the bid bots and other services that seem specifically built to increase a specific users SP as opposed to giving that user incentive to upvote other people's content.

Having said that, I think the biggest hurdle to our new users getting up to 100 SP is the fact that there isn't enough incentive for manual curation that would allow the dolphins and whales to want to upvote smaller content creators.

awesome feedback and comments.

i never really got upvotes by those whales and curation services until i started spending money on @qurator and delegating to them.

so i totally get that. seemed like everyone was getting upvotes but me back when i got started lol

i love upvoting comments first. but you are right. maybe the more incentivized we are to curate content , the better.

i mean it rises with the more sp you have. but there’s the problem like you stated. how do you make it attractive for whales and larger accounts to upvote smaller ones.

great question and i’d love to hear more ideas on how to make this happen.

remind me of when i just started out on steem.

spent so much time crafting the content, produce, cover img etc and having a hard time breaking 0 upvote. Why my content is not getting attention/comments/upvotes ?

qns : what's the 3 tips for new users to get upvote ?

it helps to motivate them to keep going and they see it results

PS :
Autopost post from instagram to steem EASILY, new dapp share2steem | Get daily upvotes from s2s and users who activate unique double curation! | Let’s onboard 1% of insta users and show them the possibilities with steem !

great questions.

tip 1 - engagement. don’t just post content, actually visit other blogs and make comments. people will notice.

tip 2 - use different apps. find an app that you like but try them all. not only will you tap into their community you may get an upvote from the app for using it.

tip 3 - make good content! doesn’t have to be a pulitzer or epic vlog. but make sure you put the effort into attracting an audience. deliver value everyday.

awesome questions. thanks very much for that!

Posted using Partiko iOS

@jongolsonawesome tips

actually wanted to reply the same thing on comments but waited to see what u gonna say.

especially pt 1 so true and effective in getting results.

use tag of your interest and do meaningful comments on trending post. might get upvotes and also leverage on others trending to get attention.

post once daily and comment 3 to 20 daily

dont let quality drag the time to create or hold, build consistency first

Now that I found my way here from nathanmars post, am looking forward to joining the link777 family but am still under 100sp: had an issue getting time in between the schedules but now I do have. Working towards. Any assistance on joining will be appreciated.

for sure. what are you needing help with?

Posted using Partiko iOS

Thanks for the quick response, am in need to join the link777 and support on my content to clinch the 100sp.

try the 5-500-5000 formula. i talked about it in my latest post. it worked wonders for me this past year.

Posted using Partiko iOS

Watching it, a formula, it looks good. Let me have a nice look and thanks for the lead.
