DTube - Steemit Tips for Newbies & Minnows: How to Delegate Steem Power!

in dtube •  7 years ago  (edited)

A unique feature about the Steem blockchain is that holding Steem Power provides a user with a certain amount of influence. In this video tutorial for Steemit Newbies & Minnows, I go over how to delegate Steem Power and why a user might want to do so.

Make sure to upvote, follow, resteem and comment. I give away 0.1 SBD to a random commenter who leaves a high quality comment on the previous video.

Thank you for watching,

Josh

Thanks for the explanation... I'm still confused a bit though :) When I look at the MSP's website, I can't make sense of what is the reward if I delegate 0 - 50 SP to the bots? Also, I'm not sure how bots actually add value to the engagement between people...

And thank you for the SBD transfer 🙏

YW! Thank you for the questions! Hope the next video helps answer your questions :)

I’m looking forward :)

Thanks for this Josh! I keep hearing about delegation and all that since I joined, but never really understood until you explained it! Do you know of any other ways to create passive income on Steem?

It's a completely public and open space to all members of the Steemit community who voluntarily choose to be there.

If you would like to delegate to the Minnow Support Project you can do so by clicking on the following links: 50SP, 100SP, 250SP, 500SP, 1000SP, 5000SP.
Be sure to leave at least 50SP undelegated on your account.

Thanks. Very helpful as a newbie

Lots of great info, I'm learning a lot with your vids! Could you make one explaining a bit more about power up and steem power and all that shows in the wallet, I just don't understand that very much.

Sounds like delegations can work in your favor. Once you delegate your SP, if you decide to cancel it, how long does it take to show in your account?

Also, why does bandwidth only show low in the mornings? In the evenings I'm around 98% but when I wake up in the mornings, I'll be around 50%?

Thanks Josh, great video.

Thanks for the video. Between it and the article you mentioned SP Delegation is one less thing I have to learn about here. I really appreciate you taking the time to do these educational videos. As much as I love to read it has been getting more difficult for me to read online articles and videos really help.
