Visiting a Monastery at Vikos–Aoös National Park Built in the 16th Century

Hello everyone.

Just returned home from an amazing trip to "Konitsa" village.
Accompanied by @illusivelf, we had so much fun and many adventures to share.

One of them was hiking to a monastery built in the 16th century called "Moni Stomiou".
This is the place where Paisios of Mount Athos lived most of his ascetic life and asked to be buried there. We even saw the grave he built for himself. Too bad the Greek authorities didn't let that happen and now he is buried in at the Monastery in Souroti, next to the church of St Arsenios the Cappadocian. Everything for the money...

Anyway, the trail was about 1 hour and 30 minutes and it was a very beautiful one. The only thing we could hear was birds and water from Aoos River crushing on huge boulders and birds singing. If you want to see more, all you have to do is click on the image above and enjoy my vlog.

Thank you all for watching my adventure and for supporting me all this time.
Have fun and enjoy your week.
Much love.
