I have a great writer steemian friend for some long I am watching him since 2016 @ericvancewalton he is working with the rest of the gang on the #hardforkseries. I contact him within steemit and his blog, I asked of him if he would be kind enough to ship me one of his hard copy books ( I don't enjoy reading much ebooks) signed by him at Greece to where I leave we settle for Steem Dollars. Whoever things Steem is not a currency he is oblivious of the community bonding this currency has as we speak.
The strongest dollar in the world right, fluctuates a bit for sure but it will stabilize when steemit peeks at some point in the near future.
@kus-knee I know you from steemit for quite a long time and I really think what you do is amazing with all that collections and engagement you create within the community with your challenges. Its going to be a very interesting year, probably beyond anyone's expectations.

Hi @arne2 thanks a lot for pointing that out to me as I've never listened with head phones. Actually when I checked just now there is audio on the right side but it's very faint.
I've just started using an external mic instead of the iMacs built in mic so I've got lots to learn! That's the great thing about Steemit, it pushes you to grow and improve. I'm from the 1950's and 2 years ago I'd never even been on Facebook. It might take me longer but I'll get there.

I have always been against automatic vote, if you really build relationships with other users, it implies the reading of their materials and live comments on the subject.
But, I understand that it's hard to find free time for this (every day follow updates of friends and participate in discussions). With all of the FUD surrounding the crypto market, I have come to appreciate Steem more and more. It is fast, easy to use and move without high fees, and for the most part maintains a steady value. This is rare for a cryptocurrency. Sometime I take for granted what a great platform Steemit is with an integrated currency and an experienced team. Let me start by saying I agree with you. The question I have is this Old Dog: Given my background in the equity markets, we had a saying that the market was always right. Now obviously this is not 100% the case. But, if you had an investment that you believed should be doing better but it was not- there is a natural human tendancy to think you are right and the market is wrong. Sometimes that turns out to be the case. If you are Warren Buffett that happens more often or not. What I mean is why are the markets not recognizing the same facts you stated??

Great comment and although I had now idea that you had a background in the equity markets I had suspected it. It would be great to see some market analysis articles from you here on Steemit or did I miss them.
I have no background in finances but the nature of currency is a topic that interests me very much and I enjoy listening to lectures and reading articles that attempt to explain it.
Now that Wall Street is involved with ETF's and the inevitable market manipulation that follows I think that all bets are off. Still, what I see with Steemit is the chance for people all over the world, regardless of economic standing to participate in the mass distribution of a crypto currency without, at first, understanding it. They are then "forced" or better, incentivised to learn about using it and trading in and out of it.
Since transactions with other Steem holders are FREE it also offers a solution to micro payments which we don't see in other currencies.
Steem is still in its infancy and is now well over 1 billion in market cap (depending on the day :) ) and it seems that the general direction is up.
I think that the markets ARE starting to recognise the superiority of the Graphene blockchains and they are starting to move there projects onto them.
The facts show that, so far, the other coins are simply not widely distributed enough or cannot handle the volume to be viable currencies. All of this is subject to constant change in this, The Wild West of finance.
