The real reason the middle and lowwr class are doomed is becaus eof the education system not teaching financial intelligence. Poor financial decisions lead us into poor financial positions. Educate yourself on how the rich get rich and the poor stay poor. My suggestion would ve to read Rich Dad Poor Dad. What the rich teach their kids that the poor and middle class do not.
