You know, FE is the ultimate test for someone's open mindedness hehe.
To anyone new to the subject: Trust yourself, and discern with your own mind. Be careful not to fall for a new model presented all too quickly, there are major issues with the azimuthal map.
As for me, both models - globe and disc model - are not what this place is. I only hope the FE'lers on steemit are willing to discuss it eventually. I find some to be as sogmatic about azimuthal as most people are about the globe.
We just have to make an open minded tribe within the open minded platform that is steemit.
We've all been there before: when we first hear about flat earth we want to protect everyone from false information because we care. That is before we decide to have the balls to actually look at it the case instead of being a dogmatic monkey.
And we realize that curvature is a myth and that we have no functioning model at this time at all, despite our societal appearance-efforts to call ourselves an evidence-based scientifically minded culture.
So your work is invaluable. Let's just always stay open minded - always.

NOT-A-GLOBE seems like a better term then Flat Earth, since so many lies is attached to the Flat Earth term.
I both got HUGE upvotes in the past for posting "Flat Earth" posts and I got flagging for calling out ballearther @fredrikaa who claim to work as economist for the European space agency and post fake pictures from that agency on steemit and get upvotes for it.

Totally agreed on the name.
It's tricky when official people come in and relay the stuff everybody thinks they know already, while people offering alternative cases and questions are attacked for misinformation.
As far as I'm concerned the myth will fall apart all by itself eventually. All the better if we have already made networks of critical thinkers who are never too cool to evaluate any type of idea - no matter how far-out it may seem at first. If there is evidence, it needs to be evaluated.
You know? The actual scientists. Not the priests and disciples claiming to be scientists because Neil de Grasse said so.
