Alyssa Milano and other “liberals” are promoting a “sex strike” to protest abortion laws such as Georgia’s Heartbeat Bill, which prohibits abortion after 6 weeks (when the heartbeat can generally be detected) with some exceptions like health risks, rape and incest.
How it works, according to Milano’s tweet, is all women will refuse to have sex with men until their rights are fully granted (zero abortion restrictions?) Some have explained it as a refusal to have sex with conservative/pro-life men.
Apparently, Milano and her “liberal” comrades have failed to realize they have taken the most conservative, pro-life stance possible, while limiting themselves. This could have been thought up by a troll on 4-Chan. If all pro-choice women abstained from sex, there would be no abortions.
They have also assumed women are all “liberal” and can be mobilized as a unit to carry out activist stunts and that all men are conservative, while also caring about sex more than protecting the life of the unborn, in other words, all men are conservatives who are “liberal.”
I fully support the movement.
I sure hope they don’t threaten to sterilize themselves or leave the country.
