Hey, @lifegains.

I guess it takes someone more mature than a 15-year-old to come out and say that this movie is not for anyone much over the age of 15. In my mind, you're stretching to get to 15, but hey, let's go with that. :) I've not seen it, just the trailers, but it seemed obvious from them that I wasn't going to be even a remote part of their demographic, let alone in the zone.

And, I find that sad, since Shazam is one of the more fun characters in the DC universe, when he's done well. It's tough to do though, because you've got to balance between him being a kid and a grown up.

However, it can be done. The MCU has managed to do it with Spider-Man, and do it very well. If you don't have a director or a studio trying to shoehorn a made for kid's comedy into a superhero movie.

My sons who are nearing thirty, especially the younger one, is all set to go watch it. I probably will eventually see it, but it's not high on the list. And thankfully, thanks to your review, I'm in no big hurry. :)

Thanks for the review guys, it was really helpful, I'm going to stay away from it and not waste my time. I'm not the target audience either as it's not my type of movie but now that I know you didn't like it, no chance that I'm going to watch it.
I love the video though, you both are funny :)
