Why Youtube's new guide lines are a good thing!

in dtube •  7 years ago

As if you never heard anything about Youtubes new guide lines on their 4000 hour watch time within the last year and the 1000 subscriber count requirement to make some cash on your hard made videos, i'm looking at it with a positive view that so much people can't see! Make it your goal to achieve those things if you haven't already. Destroy them goals!

I think 4000h views can be little too much..

it's really not that much. They said 4000h per year.. My youtube channel gets that in a day.

even if you're putting out a 3 minute video daily and it getting 1k views itll add up

I think that if you do daily vloging on Dtube that you most likely will outgrow any earning that you might be getting on Youtube to be honest.

Sure you must try to grow your channel. Here as well as there. But it rewards you for the little steps in between and without levels between zero and hero, not many people will try.

I bought a beer on my day 8. Second day of first payout. A little concrete proof that this is doing something physical in my real life.

I agree with you that this will cause Youtube accounts from posting crap content. Dtube and Steemit has the antibot, antispam built into its reporting and flagging culture so I am sure that will do the same kind of thing without squeezing you so much along the way.

Youtube will be making a little bit of money off each account less than 4000 hours of views, that's going to turn into a large number and a lot of accounts that were just getting past the stage they needed to start earning back down to zero again. Hence the rage.
