Unfortunately, it's only getting more crowded as it becomes a tourist trap!

Yes, the grounds are big that you can explore some smaller temples with hardly anyone around.

Becca lived in Siem Reap for six months last year and didn't particularly like roaming into town as it was the same scene every night. Some expats love that vibe, but she was glad she lived on the outskirts and came into town for a night out with work colleagues two to three times a month. How about in Koh Phangan? It's not as much as a party island like Samui, but it still can have its nights. Or do you hangout in the spots with the locals and avoid the touristy bars?

True those cheap $0.50 to $1 beers made it seem like every hour was Happy Hour!

Even though we haven't been yet, Koh Phangan has much more to offer than the parties and we hope tourists get to see the side of this beautiful island. The snorkeling and the scuba diving must be amazing! Anyway, have a great Songkran as we won't be on Steemit much from tonight as we travel up North.

Great idea for a video. I was at Angkor Wat a couple of weeks ago and it is an amazing place but definitely can get crowded! Did you make it for the sunrise?
