I have always loved working with my hands. Whether that be making hand crafts out of wood or twisting metal around stones in an attempt to make jewelry I have always found great pleasure in the tactile arts. Pare this passion of working with my hands with a tool that can catch something on fire, now we are talking!

I received a wood burner from a friend for Christmas last year and ever since I have been playing around with this new creative outlet and coming into my own with it as a practice. Sadly that gifted wood burner is now on its way to the big garbage dump in the sky because I made the mistake yesterday of plugging it into a 220v outlet and it was only rated for 120v. No wonder it was burning so well for those 10 seconds it was working!! Luckily the owner of the residence where I am staying had an old soldering iron that could do the trick. Though this was not the tool of the trade that I was use to using I took it as a challenge and I am extremely happy with the results :)

This art form tantalizes the senses and is one of my favorite mediums to work with that I have found to this date. There is something truly magical about smelling the burning wood as I meticulously traced the logo and slowly witnessed my piece come together. I wanted to create a wood burning of my communities logo as a sign of appreciation for every last one of them which makes it so special. It is not always the easiest to express these feelings in words so hopefully this gesture will speak a more pure truth. I love you DtubeDaily! I look forward so much to growing with all of you. Cheers!

Music is a simple cover by me of one of my favorite songs Santeria by Sublime

NICE! I loved to work with these in school! Burning in wood is really fun!

Thanks @syndicatedframes :) I really love this art form as well. Glad to hear that you have had your own experiences with it. Do you ever get a chance to practice it these days?

No... But I am thinking of getting a wood burner so I can! :)

Probably now I will 100% get it soon! :) You inspired me!

Yeah glad to hear this!! That's what we are all here to do. Make things we enjoy and inspire those around us. Let me know if you get one and I definitely want to see what you come up with :) cheers!

Dude !! Is there anything that you can't do?
Your background track was perfect for this too.
Peace.

Still working on projecting my physical being from my mind so there can be two of me. I'll update you as i get closer to this goal ;)
Thanks for the encouragement. It was a real treat to create this and lay down that track.
