As a medium sized content creator myself i must say that Dtube looks really promising, but there is still long way for it to go in order to compete with Youtube. They still need better infrastructure and content search tools in order to consider switching to it. If it's based on upvote system like Steem is, it will be no different from Youtube in a sense that new content creators wont be visible at all. Hope they play it smart :)
