Hey Thanks for losing precious time from watching cats on YouTube and taking a second for this post .
Is important for me to be able to tel my friends to look in apple-store or google play for an app called Dtube . the problem is that i cannot find any.
Is important for me to tell my friends to come here , i can is just not ready for guests just yet .
Please until Christmas let's do some things in this direction , like golem is decentralized super computer can we try to host the best videos there ? or is another way to do this to get away from lag and waiting time ?
it has to be a way to improve the experience now not latter . If is working well Casey and other youtubers may chose this over YouTube , we need to be ready for them .

I Love steemit and i appreciate what @ned is doing here , it is just not enough for one man to build this alone , we need to get together and in small community to get the answer to get this as a big and wonderful community .

For me the most important think is to find an youtube alternative with all the good thinks from there and more, the smart community from here and the value of work , i call steemit prof of brain/power and i like to believe i'm smart for cumming here and trying to make this my home .

I'm no developer but I can try to offer my 2 cents from a design viewpoint.
Dtube might need to be more differentiated from yt. not that I consier the yt UI to be anyway bad - of course it's sure a tried and tested out design. but I feel an innovative platform need to offer something a bit different. also while I like the Steem upvote implementation, I think a view count would be useful as well.

I wish I had an answer for you. I don't need all the UI, or bells and whistles. I just need a good alternative to YT that: 1. plays the video 2. I can post it anywhere 3. Is not making money on my video unless I am also being compensated fairly. It is surprising that with so much money flowing in the blockchain, nobody is investing in this, or am I missing something? XO

what you don't see is that we are in 1999 as technology or let's say 2002 at max , we have computing power problems and funding problems , we need more money and a better way to pay for developing , like 10% from your income to be taken for development as now it takes to much for implementation of new technology and is nor realy profitable for developers to do the worck for us the comunity :D

The biggest problem is 7 days limit... For ex. you can upload the good content to youtube And earn even after few years
