You don't provide much information about the age of the car or the price quoted for the repair, but the dealership is arguably the most expensive place to get repairs. Also, there are rebuilders of these expensive components. I had an ABS(2009 Toyota Camry ABS Pump Control Module) unit for an Audi A4 successfully rebuilt for much less than new by repairlaboratory.com. I'm sure there are other rebuilders out there as well
