How to Look Good With Little to No Makeup

Looking good with little to no makeup is possible; there are many ways to go about this as everyone does not have the same needs. The key is to keep it light and simple.

Tools that you will need:

• Moisturiser or Tinted Moisturiser
• Concealer
• Powder
• Blush
• Eyeliner Pencil
• Mascara
• Lip Balm/Gloss

Step 1: Applying Moisturiser or Tinted Moisturiser

After washing your face, use your fingers to apply a suitable moisturiser or tinted moisturiser and gently massage it into your skin using circular motions.

The choice of moisturiser depends on your skin type and what you want to use and prefer. Using a simple moisturiser or a tinted moisturiser can add a bit of colour (make sure it matches your skin colour!) and give proper coverage to even out your skin tone.

Step 2: Applying Concealer

Apply a bit of concealer under your eyes and/or on some breakouts/blemishes depending on your skin condition. You can use your fingers or a concealer brush to gently blend the concealer into the skin.

Only use the concealer if necessary. If your skin tone is already even, there is no need to use a concealer.

A concealer can be used after using a moisturiser or a tinted moisturiser or alone.

Step 3: Applying Face Powder

Using a bit of skin-toned face powder with a larger face brush can help you secure and mattify some face areas.

This will set the concealed areas so that the concealer won’t crease during the day or to mattify the main areas that can become oily during the day.

If you have dry skin, there is no need to set the base (only use concealer under the eyes when needed); otherwise, it can give you a drier appearance.

Step 4: Applying Blush to Warm Up the Face

Using powder or cream blush can warm up your face in a natural way, using the finish and texture that will work the best for you.

Using a medium-sized face brush or your fingers can give you a beautiful result. Start off by applying a bit to the apples of your cheeks and then blending it into the hairline and downward to get the best finish.

If you have naturally rosy cheeks, there is no need to add blush; you can totally skip this step!

Step 5: Applying Eyeliner Pencil and Mascara

Eyeliner pencil or gel can help make the eyelashes look fuller when applied on the waterline and between the lashes. After that, a few coats of mascara can be applied to emphasise the eyes.

Step 6: Add a Tinted Lip Balm or Lip Gloss

To finish off the look, add a bit of lip balm or gloss to the lips so that they look and feel moisturised and healthy.
