I just wanted to respectfully reach out to those who are reading this and feel it is over-the-top, too much --

There will be further simplifications in the coming days so please stay tuned for those before you make any major decisions about participating or not.

In the same breath however, this is a movement for specific communities to not only get success from exposure to investors, but to also draw people in from the outside. It has rewards, but these rewards have conditions.

The only thing you need to do now is to stick to the rules when it comes to creating znap content in order to get resteems and upvotes from @nathanmars, show a bit of community investment, and believe in the culture of networking and connections. All other content you can make as much as you like, however you like.

Though to be a family member right now, the bar hasnt changed, the bar raises and the expectations grow for those who want to be more and more involved, and receive rewards. This is an "investment" by you and yourself now, with your time and your comments rather than just your money. It's a project, it doesnt have the same reward scheme as making good content and simply getting upvotes from your follower base, investing it and repeating.

That being said there is nothing wrong with preferring a quieter route. There will be benefits to your energy level if its not something you can emotionally or mentally invest into.

If you already have a lot of projects and things to work on this might even seem outlandish to you, but to some others it might be the perfect thing to get them engaged, grow their spheres on twitter and youtube, and help each other and the friends they made in this community.

I said in another comment that success has many roads. It also has many flavors, and not everyone will be able to walk the same road as someone else for whatever reason, or work the same way and do the same things. That's okay. There is nothing morally right or wrong about participating in this.

That being said, I hope you will, because I have seen myself what kind of world we live in now for business. Its marketing, it's getting your product, your idea out to as many people as possible and hoping you get the attention of someone who sees you have a backing, a community at your side, and a strong vision. Making products and ideas means nothing if no one is there to support them, use them and uplift them.

Once again, you have sum it all great. I could never be more proud of you, bro. Young at heart and age, but big brain. For me, there are no rules at all. I see it as core values. Every family has a value. Like I expect my children to greet the elders when they meet them, and that is not rules, that are values. Characters. Mannerism. Where families thrive, we see core values there.

So as time goes by, I believe more people will see what Nathan is doing, and what you have put forward on this beautiful message, that we are part of a strong connection under the 777 umbrella. I see it more like a shelter for us, instead of a bunch of rules. I love it. Hahaha. Sorry, I am just very happy that I get what he said and I understood all you mentioned here.

Hey Nathan, I've been gone a little while on and off now trying to keep up to posting and responding as much as I can but I must admit, I can't keep up with all the new znap, link7 things going on... I hope you don't take this the wrong way but looking at it from my point of view (not knowing what's going on too well) it seems like there are a lot of "rules" being put on people that are being called "initiatives" I don't know if they really are or not, just wanted to express my concern since I haven't been around much I probably don't know what I'm talking about. I just don't want this to be a place where people feel obligated to comment or watch or follow anybody if they don't want to it is a decentralized place after all. Just seems like so many rules after watching the video, I feel like I need a visual graph just to keep track. Once again I'm not trying to discourage or bash just expressing my concern about all these rules. I'll keep watching and waiting for your simplified version soon. Thanks

Hey, I know I'm not @nathanmars but I thought I would try to reach out anyway because I think I can contribute and maybe help make this a bit clearer xD

It is true that to a certain extent with the current set up, there is gonna be a certain amount of obligated commenting and watching of content, but from a strategical point of view this is to create a culture where viewing and commenting and curating in general in a productive way is more common, and also to promote as a larger team the dapps to have a presence with out hashtags.

By sharing our znap content on Twitter with the tagged names to get resteems or upvotes and by having all of us zapping each others content, the people tagged will see the strength of our community and how many people involved in transforming the dapps into something greater, making it more likely that they will help with our road to 7mill SP raised to reward the community.

It will also in general be a trendy method to get more users from the outside who are used to hashtags and find large group communities like this to be attractive, which is a considerable fraction of social media users.

In that sense, yes, you would be obligated to make comments and support others who are trying to promote our communities and projects for the dapps, but at the same time that's the best strategy for the intended goal of the project, nothing is gonna get exposure and attraction to our dapps and our communities except exposure.

I'm sure that around the 1st of January the general summary will be enough that everyone will click with that nathan is really envisioning :>

You are right, so many rules, so many initiatives, people are lost and confused. They keep asking me about dtube rules, while I don't see any rules made by @dtube. We are free people in a decentralized platform and we are mostly creators here, we can't be creators and consumers at the same time. Our time is limited and it's really hard to follow all the rules. I hope everything is done to improve dtube and to keep it decentralized, but not to centralize it only by this initiative. Other communities also have their place, they worked hard to get where they are at now.

LinkSeven77 will be focusing on supporting many independent communities and independent projects and allowing all parties to collaborate and cooperate independently while seeking much needed capital to fund the community growth and kickstart project.

At the end of the day it’s still Steem, and there are no @dtube rules for these things. I’m sure these communities on the platform will clarify their rules but you create great content that gets decent upvote support already. Just keep doing you and you’ll be fine :) 💪🏽👍🏽

Ahh yea not everyone has the capacity to see where this is going, had a good chat with Nathan last night helped clear some confusion up. Right now we are seeing the foundation of a building and we the people are wondering how to work only to be told we need safety equipment first. Only the building has been erected we can go back to work in our offices as per normal. That’s my best take on it anyways, still not sure myself how the dots will connect but then again it’s hard to see what the building will look like only seeing the base of the foundation.

I've got an idea for everyone....how about make videos you enjoy. Post them on dtube. If people like them, they might upvote them and you make some money. Look at that money....and compare it to all the other social media platforms and see how much you made. Rinse and repeat.

Perhaps we've all lost sight of the fact that this is supposed to be social......and tried to cover it with too many rules and bullshit.

That is good and fine at all and you are more than free to do that. This project isnt for everyone and you are by no means obligated to participate :> it doesnt make you worst in any way.

This however does have a purpose, uplifting members of this specific community, attracting users and attracting investors to the Initative creators in this community put out. Success has many roads, this does not need to be yours.

I've been mainly concentrating on the backend , hosting. others have also been working on the front ends. Applications like this, can make DTube mainstream overnight. ONLY If you want to create Znap/Znapp content then you most receive at least 3 zap/zap+ comments on you previous Znap/znapp.

It doesn’t apply to any other content and you can create unlimited contents here on Steem/Dtube.

I like the direction you're taking with this Nathan, I see the vision and share it, in my own way. Oh snap I have to catch up on all these things.. watched one of your videos yesterday, the one where out YouTube profiles should be linked. I don't have any....also I've used the#znap tag incorrectly yesterday haha :D srry, I'm visiting my family all these days + traveling soo didn't have time to catch up

Well I understood your project but i have few questions

Like if a person creates a travel vlog without asking for questions and feedback will it be still Znap ?

And what if video length is above 3 minutes bro

And znaprule7 is really great to build up the community

And its also amazing thing to promote znap/znapp on twitter I think it would bring more people to our Blockchain

I completely agree with your points for bring more value to Dtube community. I really better to look below rule.

ZnapRule7 - Znap/Znapp content is restricted maximum one in any given 24 hours, per person and you must receive
minimum three #Zap/#Zap+ comments on your previous Znap/Znapp content in order to create a new one.

Without receiving minimum #Zap or #Zap+ feedback our contents can't make any #Znap or #Znap+ contents. That's point for more engagement. My opinion is every 777Dtube family need to work together with understanding this situation. Every Dtubers #Zap or #Zap+ comments highly valuable for make any contents for every 777 family members. Thanks your nice initiative.

I love something here, and that's the fact that we'll be using twitter to build a network, and as for those saying the rules are too long I just want to say rules becomes habits when you follow them and Znap and Zap has been fully understood by me, it takes discipline to achieve something big, and we'd definitely need discipline here as well to thrive really, thank you @nathanmars, now unto the next phase in building link7
