500 FOLLOWERS SPECIAL - Much LOVE to you ALL! PLUS Feature and shoutout to my 500th follower!

Yo @simplyimjustfat Hello dude!
Mate it’s all good!

Dtube is still in its early days and as an early user I’m all starry eyed because it’s really improved since I started using it nearly a year ago. I spent 6 days trying to upload something once as it would crash right at roughly 99% every time!

But to a new comer... well, that’s a story I wanted to hear, as honest as possible. You came though and told it how you see it! Props to you!
And if anything I found it has made me realise how rad it is that despite all the hassle and bugs, there are people uploading daily, without fail.

I feel dtube is still about users establishing themselves right now and experimenting with their videos, rather than producing full blown masterpieces. But man, there’s no shortage of ambition on here!
It’s like you turned up to the show early and caught us all still getting into to our costumes! 😆

It’s like we are all training up to be the first wave of career dtubers, still finding our niche as whatnot.
I would currently be too embarrassed to share my vlogs on YouTube!

But everyone is so encouraging and friendly here! We all want this blockchain to hit the big time!

It’s the reverse of YouTube kinda... I will try to explain..

YouTube-
Make enough faceless vids for long enough and then fans/subs want to know who you are etc.. leading into viewers wanting personal vlogs between bigger productions like a behind the scenes thing.

Steemit/dtube-
Make friends and interact with the community with vlogs and helpful comments long enough and then viewers/ subs want to see your bigger productions.
It’s like people will support you once you show them you are a real person.

But if it ain’t about the money or community and it’s more about just being out there for the world to see, then it is gonna be YouTube for a little while longer for sure. Or Vimeo to a lesser degree.

People here are trying to improve and encourage as a collective and actually care about each other and the platform it seems. The opposite of YouTube again!
It’s a mad one but I reckon a few more weeks on here and you will know for sure if you are into it or not.

I never usually write such long replies like this! I like having you here bro! It’s awesome!!

I am looking forward to your future videos man!
Have a good one!! =)
✌️❤️
