Piper: Is there a crab that can show you how to overcome your fears?

in dtube •  7 years ago  (edited)

Alan Barillaro's six minute animation is an inspirational story of flock of sandpipers hunting for food at a seashore: rushing to peck at the sand with the receding waves, then retreating at the incoming waves.
A baby piper, encouraged by her mother to join the flock, fails to retreat from the incoming waves in time & is drenched by the incoming surf.
Terrified of the water; she then refuses to leave the nest. Soon she notices a group of hermit crabs digging into the sand to find deeper food while keeping themselves from being buffeted by the tide.
When she copies the crabs, she discovers the beauty of the under the water & develops her skills that enable to discover food for her flock.
