What I like about Dtube (After 1 Week)

After trying to break through on Youtube for a year or so, I was filled with motivation when my friend @thomaskatan exposed me to the wonders of Steemit/Dtube.

For myself, I feel that the Steemit/Dtube platform is more accommodating for my type of content.I believe this to be , due to the generally more conscious users who are involved in this community.

I truly feel that we have a space here ,for heart to heart communication, in which information is relayed to help educate and uplift the users who participate. This helps lead to an abundance mentality allowing for all of us to win in whatever mission we are trying to pursue on Steemit.

What I like about Dtube

The dynamic is very different on Dtube in comparison to Youtube. The pure fact that the number of users on the platform is much smaller (to that of Youtube) means that the chance to create a community of like-minded individuals ,who care about your work, is much higher. A certain niche can be targeted ,with the use of tags, which saves me a heap of time when looking for like minded creators.

Due to the nature and “reward system” of Dtube , I also strongly feel like the feedback received from videos ,on Dtube, is constructive and more helpful to me as a creator. This allows for growth within my craft but also helps me to know my audience on a deeper level, allowing me to engage with them better !

The community on Dtube appears to be very tight knit and I feel the ability to collaborate is made easier through cross promotion and upvoting chains also !

Something I would like to change on Dtube -

I have noticed that information relayed through Dtube is conveyed in quite a linear way, with many creators stringing video together to form a simple completed video. This is no means a criticism , however, I would love to engage with more users who can add flare to how they convey the message. Whether that is through more engaging visuals, improved story telling, or simply by diversifying their content, I know that there is so much room for growth (creatively) in this platform.

With that being said, I love the fact that you can find a niche/community who vibe with your work, allowing for you to really hone in on your audience through your videos.

I see this platform and space going places !
