The Model Y is being announced tomorrow, and I'm really excited.
This should be an event way bigger than any iPhone, or literally any other product.... but it's not... Tesla continually gets negative press, just like crypto, because Wall St wants it to fail.
There are so many organisations that will lose money if Tesla succeeds; auto manufactures, oil companies, existing infrastructure, finance companies that short Tesla stock... and so the media is filled with articles about how Tesla will fail. The thing is, if Tesla succeeds, we all win... our air is significantly less polluted from both exhaust emissions, oil refineries and petrol evaporation, less people will be injured in road accidents and mobility will be available to the young, disabled and elderly in a way that's never been possible before.
The Model Y is literally planet-changing, and honestly, it seems like no one cares.
