Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Last week I went to the Global Block Builders convention in Austin, Texas. I had an unbelievably great time, and met an amazing amount of incredible Steemians and people building their own blockchains and blockchain projects. It wasn't a huge turnout, but the people there are the hardcore people that really believe in blockchain technology. When I started talking in this video, I wasn't really sure what I had gotten out of the week, and by the end of the video I had found my way.
Last week confirmed that I really do want to work in the blockchain world. There are some really exciting projects... the medical blockchain I mentioned, honestly, I would love to work on something like that, something that truly uses blockchain technology in a transformative way.
I now know that I need to spend the next little while developing my blockchain skills. I'm still not super sure exactly where I'm going to fit in... but it's also not important at this stage. I'll just try and learn as much as I can... these sorts of things never ever go to plan anyway.
I was a little freaked out by all the people asking me all about myself. I'm honestly not used to talking about myself, or my goals and future plans. It was fascinating to have to actually, properly think about my motivations.
It was exciting to hear all about the Global Block Builders team to travel the world spreading the blocky word. I can't wait to see what they get up to next.
All in all I had an amazing week and I'm ten trillion percent happy I made the trip. If anything I'm even more excited about the next Steem meetup thingamigo.
Thanks for watching!

Oh.
That's a great question.
In fact, it might be the greatest question of all time.
It really is weird to answer questions about myself... and this is no exception...
Also, ah, I'll try on the weekend.
