[EP167] - Fitness challenge update

in dtube •  5 years ago

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Welcome to my video made exclusively for DTube.

I wanted to give you an update on my fitness challenge.
I had challenged by Gym Buddy to a challenge with two parts:

  • Who could do the most P90X3 workouts (30 minute workout videos) in the month of May
  • Who could add or subtract the most centimeters of a particular body part. She chose her waist, I chose my chest.

It went really well, we were both highly motivated, even especially since I was traveling for the last 10 days of the challenge, it really kept me working hard even if I really didn't feel like it.

To our surprise, we actually won one each. She absolutely killed me in the P90X3 video challenge, I think she ended up doing 3 or 4 more than I did. Her last week was absolutely epic.

I ended up gaining more on my chest than she lost on her waist... it was super motivating and I really did chest workouts more consistently (no weights, all bodyweight) because of this challenge. I personally think I probably gained a lot of those centimeters on my lats which I wasn't expecting. Pull ups for the win!

What do you think? Have you ever challenged a friend? You've absolutely got to hold each other accountable.

Thanks for watching!
