I think that you can do both here. I see many people bring their content here while leaving where originally posted. The developers continue to develop ways to be efficient posting content across platforms which will help as well. Ultimately, the way I think about it is that anything earned here is 100% more than elsewhere on social media...

I agree. I do not mind cross-posting. But I think many are not willing to take that chance. New beginnings aren't the easiest things for most people. Having to start on a new platform and build new relationships, most people would not even try. Maybe until steem goes mainstream we will still find it difficult convincing people about steem. But we will keep trying anyway.

Interesting question friend, one of the concerns I always had with this cryptocurrency was if its value was the same everywhere and a friend from Germany once told me that you would do with 5 steem? and I replied: Here in Venezuela with 5 steem you buy a kilogram of beef and he replied: Wow incredible here you need at least 2,500 steem apra to pay a rent.
There I realized that in some countries according to their economy the steem will have or not signified for those who make life on this platform.

For most people that I talk to about Steem it is simply a matter of time. They do not have any extra minutes to dedicate to anything new.

True that. However, given the prospects of the steem blockchain, I think it is good enough to get people excited and willing to try it out but that's not always the case.
