Cleaning Up the Lake

Well I am back from vacation. This was recorded right before I left. Now it feels like a long time ago lol. This was a new spin on the whole Trash Thursday deal. Instead of walking around, I thought I may as well have some kayak fun and clean up the planet with @cleanplanet.

    That is almost fun from the kayak!!! Great job with cleaning up the planet! I admire your tenacity to get out there every week and get it done!!

    Even though many people don't film it, I can tell you that just watching this video has inspired many to take the initiative and do their part.

      This is gorgeous!
      Not only that you helped clean up the lake - the whole @cleanplanet idea is!
      In combination with #trashthursday it opened my eyes :)

      We always have a lot of trash here on the beach :(
      BUT: walking there together with @dog-marley we clean it up almost every day.
      Marley is helping us with that as he explained in his post I'm the beach cleaning dog :)) 🐕 last year already.

      So you just inspired me and Marley to have some interesting new posts!

      Awesome. Make sure you use the cleanplanet tag, make a sign so they know the date, and show you disposing the trash properly and they will give you a decent upvote! It is fun and a good thing too. Of course you can do it on any day. I was just using Thursday coz I have MonochromeMonday, TreeTuesday and SepiaSaturday already taken lol.

        Hey, you brought up the idea so #trashthursday it will be for me :)
        A simple other reason: I got posts for

        • Saturday: start of my contest plus #beersaturday
        • Sunday: lazy no post day for me (yet)
        • Monday: just like Sunday if nothing special happens
        • Tuesday: #treetuesday of course! :) thanks to you again!!!
        • Wednesday: contest update post
        • Thursday: nothing yet but you changed it to #trashthursday now :)
        • Friday: contest result post

        In other words: it fits perfectly into my scheme :)

                      It’s a beautiful lake made even better by your one man kayak mission. You could do with a modified kayak a bit like the big boat in one of the James Bond films that opened it’s front and captured smaller vessels - you need a kayak that opens at the front to suck up the trash!
