I do regret the limited earnings window. I dont see how they can make it longer without then also extending the payout time as well. Because posts can be up or down voted, seems there has to be a final accounting before a payout. I have a loads of vids on YT and I am bringing over the "best" to populate my D Tube channel.

@old-guy-photos thanks for sharing your story with us. Hmmm haha I wouldnt go near the bull too and this is not even funny because it is very dangerous. And thank goodness that you can run fast . Also thanks for organising a great contest here which motivated me to write my new post relating to being depressed and how steemit will help.I mentioned you there-feel free to see it and send in your thoughts-more success
Thanks I actually read a couple of your posts and followed. I like your optimism. I feel myself to be an optimistic realist. I dont followed too many folks because I like to actually interact in the comments. Thanks for stopping by :)
No. Don't laugh! People really need to know these animals do kill .... most especially the bulls. ... Of course, uh, we kind of did laugh ...
We have been raising pups for the last year and one of them became a teenager and decided he was tough stuff. I don't know what the deal was. The cows across from us live on a hill. He and this cow decided they had it in for each other. He took off from our drive and she took off from the top of the hill, they met up ... almost met up ... about half way. The cow as moving as fast as our dog!! We think he's some Labrador, Jack-Russel terrier mix. Anyway, just before they met up, dog decided he was a bit smaller and came running back home. He then got to spent a week on the electro-collar. I use to think those things were so inhumane until they became the only way to save our uh bull-headed young male dogs.
Now, the year before, we were raising our German-Shepherd/Pyrenees and he'd go over and run the pasture and the cows would totally ignore him and he was only interested in running the full length of the pasture back and forth like a big, beautiful show-off. Yeah. He's one big hairy mess. And lovable and loyal and sweet and everything good except obedient ... unless he's wearing the collar. If he's not wearing it, I need it. If he's wearing it, I seldom ever ever have to use it. ... go figure.
Well you are right, they are HUGE especially when after you and like you say they do move FAST! Much faster than one would think! I'm glad your dog decided to live to see another day.
"Those things are big..." Made me chortle out loud. As the story unfolded, I could just about see it, even though I wasn't in the pasture, didn't look good, even in my imagination. They definitely have a bad attitude, that's for sure. Glad you didn't get tromped, probably could have jumped over the barn with all that Adrenalin flowing! Thanks for the great story, and have a great day.
You're very welcome. I always enjoy our conversations. ( I DO seem to be a bit chatty O: ) And I can see why years later, a phalanx of bulls running you over the fence might cause recurrent stress. Double ( :
Fun times, good times and you almost got killed by a line of scrimmage of cows lead by a bull that didn't want you there. I'm glad you cleared that fence.
You were in my neck of the woods. Blue ridge parkway is about 2 hours from me. You gotta watch out for those hidden cows...these mountains give em plenty of places to hide.
Yeah to me it seemed tobacco was a way of life for many generations of folks down there. I while back the government bought out the allotments. I have never worked it but I hear its not easy work :)
