All hail, the Monarch!
Fortunately, this Monarch posed long enough for me to get some good shots of it. The butterfly has been a powerful symbol in religions and cultures throughout history...representing such things as the soul, sexual bliss, and change. They appear to dance as they flutter around flowers and plants gathering sweet nectar.
Butterflies like to tell us not to take things quite so seriously. To lighten up. Life is a dance. Also, to look for change. They remind us that change is inevitable, but it doesn't have to be traumatic. It can be gentle and joyful.
