This is original unedited digitised cine film footage of my childhood days in the Home Counties, England from c 1967.

Included in this film are :

• My middle sister riding her new bike; my mum riding her old bike

• A diesel train passing through the station - was it a 'Brush 2' - number D5844 ?

• The Flying Scotsman steam train making its final run on this line.

This was the LNER Class A3 4472 Flying Scotsman running on the East Coast Main Line.
