A quick look round an Adams Roadster, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
Dennis Adams, who previously led Adam's Probe Motor, founded the company in 1982 in Frome, Somerset UK. He began in 1986 with the production of automobiles and kits. Ian Peter Fellows and Stephen Leslie Hart were directors from 13 July 1991. The car production ended in 1999. In total, about 18 copies were created. On August 30, 2011, the company was dissolved.
The only model produced was the Roadster. The styling came from the 1930s and was similar to a SS 100. The body was made of fiberglass and mounted to a ladder frame chassis. An engine from a Vauxhall Monza powered the first prototype. The production models came with a six-cylinder engine from the Jaguar XJ 6.
If you are the owner, or even if you know anything more about this car, please feel free to drop a comment and offer up some details. I’d love to know more about it.
