This replica is a Robin Hood 2B Plus. Robin Hood Engineering Ltd was a British kit car manufacturer based in Nottingham in the UK and was founded in 1980.
In 1989 they introduced the Robin Hood which was a Triumph TR7 based Lotus 7 Replica, for the price of £995 + VAT. The Triumph dolomite then superseded the TR7 as a donor, and then Ford Cortina and Sierra. Engine choices ranged from 1100cc to 2000cc.
Robin Hood suffered high court action from Caterham Cars, and in 2006 the assets of Robin Hood Engineering was bought by Great British Sports Cars Ltd.
