A quick look round a Raffo Belva, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
John Raffo founded the company in 1985 in Southport.
The first Belva was made in 1996, it was also called the Tipo 16. This coupe had gullwing doors and a four-cylinder engine from Ford which was either 1800 cc or 2000 cc. It was mid-mounted and drove the rear wheels. Raffo Cars were built from 1996 to 2000 and Harlequin kit cars from 2000 to 2005 together made about seven in total.
If you are the owner, or even if you know anything about this car, please feel free to drop a comment and offer up some details. I’d love to know more about it.
