I am planning on doing an introduction video very soon, (I’m just getting enough footage together), but I thought D Tube doesn’t have that function. I know YouTube has that feature, where you can upload an introduction video which auto plays when someone opens my page.
I just don’t know how to do it on D Tube. Could you point me to a video that explains how to do it? As I really would like to use that feature.
No, dtube doesn't have that option, I just verify videos and I just want to be sure. When you will have an introduction video here, curators will be sure of you and you may get an upvote from dtube. Also the community will trust you more. You can even let me know about that and I will welcome you to our community @dcooperation and you will be in touch with more awesome creators.

When you say “verify”, is this a block chain thing? I’m sorry for the “dumb” questions; I’m new to D Tube, although I do like the idea of crypto’s. (That’s free market crypto, not government run.)
Is there a D tube “how to video” on how to do an introduction video, that covers the verification?

We have people stealing videos from youtube and other websites from the web and they upload them on dtube, should we reward plagiarism ? Of course no, even if it's blockchain.
By introduction video, I just mean to say hello to people and include dtube and steem in the video, you don't have to say your name or something. Just say, hello dtube, I joined this platform recently and I love cars and you will see in my channel ....... . Something like, about your channel, maybe how did you find about dtube the first time. A lot can be done in the introduction video, it's depend on your creativity.
It's nice that you are new here, I was new also someday and I didn't find anyone to help me, I just was doing things to grow an improve and now as you see I'm welcoming people here and helping them.

Yes, I never thought people could steal videos and upload them to D Tube. I was planning on doing an intro-video, using a few clips from previous episodes, but I might just do an intro for D Tube separately.

You also can promote your youtube channel here, like I'm doing in my posts in the buttom. Promoting your youtube is also good, so we will make sure you have the same videos there.
