    In regards to the first callers question, what do we do?

    Using the strengths of the blockchain for more than just money would be a good starting place.

    Communities forming at the city / town level while using the blockchain to give actual ownership of public property and its profits (not just monetary) to the public residents. Iron clad voting systems without fraud as well.

    Integrating smart contracts and investment opportunity for the residents to take all of the bureaucracy and unnecessary administration costs out of governance while keeping wealth local is another good idea.

    These can be configured so the comply with tax law to the maximum benefit of the locals while also keeping everything within existing legal systems.

    Andrew Jackson would approve of the blockchain :) This is We the People demolishing the Den of Thieves and routing out the nest of Vipers ourselves.
