Amazing Grace Performed by the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band at the 26th Annual Gathering of the Bands

in dtube •  7 years ago

The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band's 26th Annual Gathering of the Bands was held on Saturday August 26, 2017.
8 Bagpipe bands, a Concert band and a Big band performed through-out the afternoon.
This video was captured from the Bagpipe parade that commenced at 8 pm, that same night and was the finale to the parade.

How fitting and proper that the band would chose the old hymn "Amazing Grace" for the finality and closing of the exciting day.
And you didn't let any ideas of opposing views cloud your reasoning for adding this for us to enjoy.
I am old. I love the fact that I have lived in the "age of grace." And not in the age of law and condemnation.
Thank for you reminding me and others of the truth that we believe to be true.
Amazing grace.
Will you show us even more of the day that you experienced? We will find out I guess.

Yes, because I'm still learning Dtube and didn't realize that whatever information you use when you upload a video gets posted instantly to Steemit. This didn't let me tell the whole story or more of it anyway. I also wanted to dedicate this particular video to a few people whom I know will really appreciate it. ;)
You're probably going to laugh...

I watched on UTube a piper playing Amazing Grace and it was wonderful thanks for sharing.Icouldn't get the video to load

I have uploaded both videos to Youtube now and included the story that goes with it @cowboyk. Thanks for being patient with me, until I can get this Dtube thing figured out. It seems that Dtube requires more buffering time than Youtube and that you need to use Chrome as your browser when you try to view videos on it.
Dtube was only launched 2 weeks ago and is an app that was built for Steemit. I think that it will get better as the developers work to improve its functionality.
