So super cool! I'm so glad to have discovered you and your art here. :) I wish I had more to say than enthusiastic cheering noises, but I think I'd need more coffee for that. :)

Haha... just had a big coffee, but not so sure it helps much. Although its 3pm here ;-)

I love your comment and I really appreciate your "visit", since you are one of the very first steemians I ever followed!

Quite often I find myself so in awe of something, that I just can't put it in the right words. A big thank you for the enthusiastic cheering 😄

You ever put chemicals on the glass? Napthalene?

Did some experiments with hydrofluoric acid a long time ago, but its just to dangerous for my taste. No chemicals :-)

I've used that to etch metal. Not for me either!

Yep.. that's the part I hate about etchings

Is this some kind of special glass or just regular one?

Its called "optiwhite glass", has a much better quality than regular window glass and almost none of the green tint

Thanks for an explanation. Again I learned something new on steemit. Like every day. Have a great weekend.

Same here, yes... awesome place :-) Have a great weekend too!

Interesting technique. Do you find it gives you better control than scoring the glass instead? Or perhaps complex scoring is not possible. I'm no expert.

It is interesting how the glass "scales" while you chip away. Produces an interesting texture there.

I wanted this particular rough edge and hammering was the only way that came to my mind for that
