Do You Just Interact with Whales and Dolphins and Ignore the Minnows and Plankton ? WELL DON'T !!

in dtube •  5 years ago  (edited)

It can be enticing to just concentrate on engaging with Whales and Dolphins to get the BIG upvotes. But we must also concentrate on the Minnows, Plankton, and new Members to make our Ecosystem healthy and secure for the future.

I started a 7 day challenge to go to the #introduceyourself section and Upvote, Comment, and Resteem one newbie a day for seven days. Its called the #SevenDayResteemChallenge

This gives them some much needed Attention and Confidence.

So let's get out there and help our Ecosystem grow to amazing heights :)

Great points man...That was a big part of my journey when I first started...I need to get back into it.

But you are right, just never know who will be the next 'big account' on Steem...So treat everyone with respect and give them support along their journey. :)

As much as we can of course.

Amen, brother

You know, when you start here and branch out, the whales are a good spot to start networking as the upvotes are nice, the exposure of your new brand is to a built in audience, and you avoid spending effort on other new people who might disappear in a couple weeks. It is a habit which is definitely a good one for yourself and I would suggest always finding the bigger accounts and making yourself known.

That being said, it is not the whales that are the key to growth and inflation of the value of the blockchain and token.

I love this challenge and will jump on board by investing extra time in the #introduceyourself section, engaging and curating.

Great reminder that will pay off big in the future for everyone. Thanks for the reminder and encouragement man!

Thanks @zekepickleman !! And I appreciate your extensive and well thought out Comment :)

That's all I got! ;)

Now to put that skill to use with some new folks.

Hi Robert I appreciate the effort I am in intro every single day Together with @jamerussell and we featured every new member again in the daily @heyhaveyamet It’s hard in the beginning we all know cause we been there had that. So after the re-feature we invite them to the steemterminal and help them there with all the questions on steem for free. The terminal has a redfishrally so if you really want to help , the new accounts that made an intro and kept in blogging are there ready to be helped by us AND hopefully now you too. https://steemit.com/redfishrally/@heyhaveyamet/redfish-rally-monthly-delegation-contest-by-hhym-and-steem-terminal-for-february-begins-now

Thank you @brittandjosie that sounds really great. Iam here to help, definitely :)

That’s great let me know what you have in mind @xcountytravelers and @iamraincrystal
Might have ideas where help is needed in redfishrally 100sp and redfishrally 500 sp

Hey @brittandjosie. I PMed you in discord. I hope you got it ??

I try to do this as much as I can. A lot of the time, "time" simply doesn't allow for it. I know that is a lame excuse, but that is just how it is. I am hoping one day I can spend a little more time trolling around the landscape and throwing out some upvotes here and there.

Totally understand @bozz

You are right #introduceyourself and #introducemyself and #introduction is very important to curate !

Thanks buddy :)

You're welcome. The post was shared in twitter as well.

I know I saw. Thank you my man :)

You are getting nice engagement on your posts, and I can be relatively sure it's not from interacting with whales and dolphins, but from interacting with minnows :-D I'm trying to reach out to new users again now that I have more time since I'm freelancing half the time

cool
