My2017. My Achievements and Failures - How I fell in love with my life.
Winter.
2017 began with a dark winter inside and outside me.
I turned 30 in 2017. And with this birthday I tried to gave up and destroy the dreams I imagined and played when I was a child. I tried to cure my wanderlust for years but it came back stronger. I tried to fit in our society with the perfect life. I finally quit my job.
Trying to be myself leaded me to a mental and physical breakdown. I was chasing for years answers who probably don't have any conclusion. I was unsatisfied. I was wound up breathless. Our society locked me up and kept me away from dreaming.
I've distanced myself from my family. From my friends.
Spring.
Spring arrived. And as the bird. I fall in love. I fall in love with the new season of my life.
I discovered the crypto-sphere and the revolution the blockchain technology can bring to the world. It gave me hope.
Steem helped me regain control of my life. Day after day, I woke up to blog. From scratch, I built the French community. The difficulty of the task led me to surpass myself. The first rays of the sun helped me get out again.
Summer.
I started to smile again. But the time I spent crying and being confuse was also the time I learned to be more empathic to others.
I regained the self-confidence I had lost. And the future now looks brighter. I know that I can be myself now. Unique and radiant. I am learning to let my light shine on the world. To help others to accept their own light as well.
Fall.
I threw myself body and soul on Steem because I believe in its power to transform the world. I want to be part of this revolution.
In 2017. I turned 30. I tought I would have checked all the boxes on my 30 years old check list… But I am far away for my goal. At least, I've learned that everything happend for a reason and at the perfect timing. And the universe and me are not reading at the same watch.
I am now able to endure the difficulties with confidence.
Ups and downs are part of the life. There are times of harvest and times of spree. But I promise myself that everything will be alright

This was such a great video and I really enjoyed watching. Keep your promise to yourself that everything will be alright. I've noticed in my own life that 90% of what I used to worry about never happened so I stopped worrying only to discover that everything turned out alright. There are plenty of people who are good at worrying so it's OK, let them do what they are good at. When you focus on your joy and passion everything turns out good.

Tres bonne video @roxane, tu a donner la bonne atmosphere a ton texte et le montage est bien dans le tempo de l'histoire. Un petit conseil pour les prochaines videos apprend a utiliser la composition au moins "the rule of third" pour donner plus d'impact a tes image et d'autres trucs dont on parlera. Puis j'ai abandonné l'idée à 17ans. Facile d'abandonner ses rêves. Olivier m'a offert un OSMO il y plusieurs mois pour que je commence à filmer ... Tu as fait du chemin, nous en avons parlé, bravo à toi. Ce n'est pas évident d'accepter de repartir de zéro à 30 ans, encore plus avec ce qu'il t'est arrivé. On peut avoir de la rancœur, passer son temps a ruminer le passé, mais ce n'est pas ce qui fait avancer. Tu as choisi de te battre et de relever la tête, de regarder vers l'avenir. Dear Roxane, you wrote a beautiful and poetic post. It's a strange age, 30, and you will experience that this will be also the case when you become 40, 50 or 60 (like I am). I hope it will not be so intense as 30, but when life goes on, you will have similar feelings. 'Is this all there is', will be on your mind at those different ages. And even when the answer is 'yes', that doesn't mean by definition that you are unhappy or unsatisfied. The answer can also be: ' yes, that's all there is and I am happy with my situation.
You took your life under the microscope and decided to do it differently, that's courageous and I hope you will have the power to do the same whenever the need for change arises.
In the meantime, enjoy what you are doing and enjoy what you have accompliced in life and in Steemit.

@roxane. C'est avec beaucoup de plaisir que je reviens doucement mais sûrement sur Steem :)
Au niveau santé, les derniers mois ont été très éprouvants, d'où ma longue absence - ce n'est d'ailleurs pas encore le top, mais je ne me plains pas - le fait de pouvoir publier quelques messages est déjà une grande avancée et je m'en réjouis :)
J'espère que cette nouvelle année me libèrera du serpent qui tente de m’étouffer.
Que cette nouvelle année me libère aussi de manière significative de mes douleurs – parfois difficiles à surmonter.
Enfin que cette nouvelle année me permette de réaliser mes projets qui sont depuis (trop) longtemps dans le frigo.
L'espoir est là et la motivation aussi :) En route vers de nouvelles expériences :) A bientôt et excellentes fêtes !
