Dozens of animal rights activists staged a naked protest in Barcelona city centre accusing the fashion industry of animal cruelty on Sunday.
Protesters from the group Anima Naturalis were filmed lying naked while covered by red sauce in Catalunya square to symbolise the slaughter and poor treatment of animals used in the production of fur and leather garments.
"Every year, more than 60 million animals are sacrificed for the leather industry to do business with their fur. In fur farms animals spend all their lives in small cages being gassed, electrocuted on an oral or anal way. During that moment, a lot of these animals are still alive, so they feel how their skin is removed from their bodies," said Cristina Ibanez, the coordinator of Anima Naturalis in Barcelona.

You can say semi naked... We didn't see a thing!
When stupid people protest the wrong way against the untimely things when their countries are involved in killing and oppressing other humans in large numbers across the planet.. We never saw them protest to uplift the siege off Gaza when the Israeli embassy is a few blocks away from them. They should protest every day there.
Also against their country's participation in NATO imposed sanctions against Syria..!

idk if fur fashion is still a thing, but there are necessary reforms in the fashion industry that shouldnt be ignored.
fast fashion is a factor for climate change, as many clothes are using oil to be produced, and low quality produced clothing will be replaced quickly... the average german (not me) buys 60 clothing articles per year and USA 68... this also causes a lot of cotton to be used which uses up an insane amout of water... fast fashion is also too low quality to be recycled or donated, hence most donated clothing goes into the trash....
if you buy made in china clothing, you can additionally not be sure if it was produced in a concentration camp by falun gong or uigur slave workers
over all i think it is a good thing people get more aware of whats going on and what they do not support. for example, not to buy israeli and chinese products (BDS and concentration camps), buy local foods with little packaging and bring your own shopping bag (enviroment), take bus or bike, hide your data to make it easier for people who actually need to hide their data be able to blend in... if everyone respects and reflects about the points other people feel passionate about we would achieve a more aware society...
