This year, we are celebrating Christmas in paradise with 30° weather, sunshine, turquoise waters and palmtrees in Mauritius!
Although it's not the traditional christmas setting with snow, cosy fires and hot chocolate, we are still having a great time.
When we were shopping at the grocery store yesterday, we came across some Santa hats - and although we're not really feeling the holiday spirit quite yet, we felt like we just had to get them to shoot some christmas footage!

Behind the scenes / Outtakes
We are currently staying at an apartment complex right at the waterfront of a beautiful beach in Mauritius.
About 100-200m from the coast, there is a cluster of rocks which are located just above the surface.
As soon as we saw that spot, we had the idea to stand there for our video and have the drone fly above our heads!
Of course, we also had to do some dance moves while being out there in the middle of the sea!
As you know, we are always moving, always dancing - so we had to use this beautiful spot to record some moves as well:
What we didn't know was that the journey to that spot would be way more difficult than it looks ...
The water wasn't very deep, but still we had to be very careful not to get our pants too wet.
The real problem were the rocks on the ground though - it was very slippery and spikey!
This shot will give you an idea of how far we were from the coast:
Getting to the rocks in the middle of the water was quite the mission, but definitely worth it!
Take a look at this beautiful landscape... Mauritius is simply incredible!
Today is Christmas Eve - in Germany, the 24th is actually when you celebrate Christmas.
I'm wishing all my Steemit friends & followers a blessed holiday and a great time with your loved ones!
Enjoy these few days and spend them with your family, relaxing, and eating some good food.
Christmas is a time to give- to make others happy and to count your blessings.
