Welcome to the 72nd episode of the Steem Sister Show!
Your hosts are @coruscate and @maryjaney. Two sisters bringing fun content to the Steem blockchain.
Topic of this Episode – A Day in the Life of a Steem Sister
Sorry that this episode is so late in being posted! I'm afraid I didn't get to it before heading out of town this weekend... so we will just have some extra content for you guys this week!
Today we are chatting all bout daily routines, rituals, habits and what a day in the life looks like.
Here are the questions we answered this episode.
How does fitness and health play into your daily routine?
What do you like to do in your free time?
How long does it take you to get ready in the morning/what is your morning routine?
Describe a day in the life on workdays.
@coolguy222 – How many cups of coffee do you drink in a day?
Describe a day in the life on a day off.
Not to mention aaalll the tangents that happened in between questions! We chat about all sorts of things such as mindset, our evening routines, what shows we are watching etc. etc. etc.
What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@coruscate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.
Want to win some Steem??
If we chose to answer your question in the next show… we will send you 2 Steem!
Next Week’s Topic: Tidying Up and Home Organization
Marie Kondo and her philosophy about tidying up - the Konmari Method - have been sweeping the nation since her Netflix show came out. Her book on the Konmari method came out about 7 or 8 years ago, but the Netflix show has really started to popularize her philosophy.
I decided to Konmari my home and have been SO in love with how it has turned out! Both Mary and I are somewhat naturally messy people -but have been training ourselves to be more organized. We are excited to dig into the topic of tidying up and the benefits/struggles that can come from that.
So send us your questions! If we choose to answer your question during that episode - we'll send you 2 steem.
That’s a Wrap!
We really hope you guys enjoyed this episode talking all about daily routines and rituals. Sorry for such a long episode - we've been on a bit of a roll lately!
How many push-ups can you do?

Oh man... not that many. I can pretty easily do 10 in a row, but once I get past 15 my form really starts to suffer.

Why did you chose Steem/Dtube over Youtube or other video sharing sites?

We post our videos on Youtube as well - but we are really gearing our content towards a Steem audience.

Yeah I post on Youtube as well but I'm swaying towards Dtube more now. Been waiting over 12 months for monetization on Youtube. Anyway best of luck
