El Payande: Stellabelle's Music Video For Lhasa De Sela

in dtube •  7 years ago

I bring you a music video that I shot and edited today. I have been recently inspired by an artist, and this has led me to creating this video today. For this one, I didn’t write anything out before I started shooting. The theme came to me in an organic way, the story unfolding naturally.

The music is from Lhasa De Sela, who has a very haunting voice. I believe she is Mexican.

If you have trouble on DTube, here’s the YouTube video:

Techical Details:

EOS logo art by @rubenalexander
Music by Lhasa De Sela, El Payande
Time for shooting and editing: 9 hours
Video editing software: iMovie
Shot on location in the West Bottoms

I am completely wiped out for the day, being absorbed in the creation of this video. I feel inspired by EOS recently too, and that is why I’m putting the EOS logo on my artwork now.

We have now. That’s it.

Cheers,
Stellabelle

Good work @stellabelle, the amount of time spent doesn't matter but the achievement is the most important thing, what an amazing video. Love it

Amazing looks like you had a lot of fun. You always pick such vibrant and fun colors. I hope you get some well-deserved rest.

Hey @spacetrucker I hope you see this. See the kind of production level on this? Maybe it will inspire you do push the envelope on your next creation(s).

Wow @stellabelle! That was so intense and your voice so beautiful. I am also a fan of EOS. Congratulations on such a authentically creative post. 💜💚💜💚

it's not my voice, it's Lhasa De Sela, a Mexican singer. I did all the shooting, directing and video editing.

Well it is awesome! You did a fantastic job creating this.

Wow! You are So creative @stellabelle. Keep it up

Awesome editing! And very creative with just a ken doll

First time i woke up to @stellabelle's post. I do hope to watch the video when i have a better network coverage

Wow weldone @stellabelle. I know how shooting, directing and doing video editing can be very stressful. One shld just enjoy it. Awesome edits, graphic, etc. Everytn so on point

Wow. You were very creative with this video and I especially find it hard to believe you did the shooting, directing and edit all by yourself. Not only that, it was a spontaneous effort. How you managed to create such brilliance without writing a single thing down before shooting amazes me... well done ma! That's some talent you've got!

By the way, EOS is a great cryptocurrency with a great future and it's nice to see you incoporating the logo in your videos.

like it.

Pain even if inflicted on a doll feels so harsh. This video took me on an unpleasant journey of my past and brought back memories of how me and my siblings were emotionally and psychologically abused by different people in our lives when our father decided to abandon us. This was really touching and yeah, the voice of the artist is haunting and holds a lot of pain within- beautiful!

this is weird how you picked up on these themes. i am sorry you went on unpleasant journey.....most of my art is connected to pain actually, as I cannot help it from emerging.

I believe the key to creating original, genuine and meaningful art is to let your feelings and emotions flow untamed and that's what you do. Salute to you for doing that for it isn't easy.

And if an unpleasant journey leads to a pleasant outcome, it doesn't feel too bad in the end :)

Your use of the mannequin was just perfect.
And her voice is just captivating.
If only I understood Mexican.

I love the changes in speed and the sound effects when the doll falls.

Sounds like fado music, this goes straight to my playlist:D

great job guys.

LOVED IT !!! :)

I really love this and the use of the doll made me smile. It takes the seriousness and gives it a bit of humour, which I love. Well done!

How neat is this! This is actually one of my mother's favorite songs. Oh Stellabelle you've done it again! Bravo haha <3
