I know the feeling. The best and fastest way to grow here is to interact with others make solid friends either in the comment section or on the discord chat groups. If DTube want to survive longer than few months it need to develop more and keep getting new users in transparent way. If average user who is not familiar with the block chain wont see the benefits of the platform than its sort of game over. Average user cares only about the platform at the moment theres no proper search results, filters, design or brand with promotion, it's just proof of concept. Its great project but in very early stage, I started uploading some of my videos and it works great if we talking about the features that are already implemented

Like I said man we are the early adopters and thing are not always the best it could be in Beta. But this whole thing, for the most part, was programmed in one man's spare time. But I'm sure he has some more assistance by now. I highly doubt that Dtube is stoppable even if adoption is slow. Look at how far Steemit has come.

Hi man great video. Just a precision though in what you say. Videos are not in servers, they are on the IPFS network, and that could technically be any PC connected to the IPFS Network. Last update I introduced a download where you can join the IPFS network, and become a 'seeder' for videos you upvote. Technically, the video storage is also decentralised! What isn't is the search.
DTube isn't part of steemit, its part of STEEM. SteemIt is another interface like DTube that connects to the STEEM blockchain. But yeah SteemIt is the majority interface so I understand why it's easy to confuse STEEM for SteemIt :D
