TOP FIVE TIPS for New Investors . Morning STEEM . ep 4

Nice top tips @jacobts.
I think it´s important for people to fully understand the difference between "trading" and "investing" in cryptos. And on that note, I want to second your advice on HODL(´ing). This is a great tip for new players to the crypto world. Also it´s important to have an exit plan or sell price, (and stick to it) I don´t know how may times i´ve just held past what I had planned to sell for to only see it drop like a knife in a flash and lose money.

And if I may add my favourite exchange, Bitfinex. They don´t unfortunately have Steem listed (man that´s gonna be a party when they do) but they do have plenty of coins to start trading and IMO has the easiest interface for trading and of course tons of volume.
Happy n safe trading!

Thank you for sharing your opinions on bitfinex. I do not know too many people outside the United States. I also do not know how I feel about the Tether numbers. But I also know people who have echoed your sentiments and are happy with the exchange. That said, these are predominantly for people I know, and most people I know are in the US. Bitfinex is currently not technically open to US Customers.

Thank you for echoing those sentiments on HODL. And for the distinction between investor and trader. I have mentioned that in previous videos and should probably expound on it again soon. I am thankful for all the hard lessons I have learned so that I can share them with friends and family.

I hope to see you again down the road. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks @jacobts.
FYI....Bittrex is not allowing new users to open accounts at the moment.
They are working on this, but it´s been like that for a while now so I guess Poloniex is the next best stop if you need an alts exchange.
I use Poloniex and never had a problem with them.
