The accordion is a very popular instrument in some of the traditional music made in Portugal, especially in the north. But I must say this, what he plays sounds nothing like those songs, they are usual very repetitive. This sounds original, and hes very good at playing this.
Anyway I just made a post about, probably the most well know accordionist in Portugal. Check it out if you like :)
