This generation Barracuda was the best, IMHO.
The 340 equipped cars were wicked fast, and I knew more than a few that easily beat “big block” cars – i.e. over 390 cubes . The lone exception – Oldsmobile’s with 455’s.
Perhaps it was a better power to weight ratio.
