Review of Kype Music - Upcoming artist from Atlanta, GA! For fans of Drake, The Weeknd, Post Malone

If you’re into Drake, Post Malone, The Weeknd or Tory Lanez then the artist that I’m reviewing in this video/blog post is for you! It’s hard to be the noise above the noise with tons of music and content being released every single hour of every single day, but the impressive self-taught solo talent Kype from Atlanta, Georgia has got what it takes to make you stop and listen to his songs that tell a deep story and that take you on a journey you didn’t even know you desperately needed! The first track is called ‘Poka (Good-bye)’ and after the first few seconds of listening this song I knew I was onto something here. I usually listen to new music over and over again while doing other things (writing, cleaning, dishes, boring stuff basically) but when this song started playing I had to stop what I was doing and just fully focus on what this artist had to say. First of all, the melody and background music is top notch, this entire track is mixed and mastered to the highest standards (I’m listening to this with headphones on to really listen to the music), but what really makes this track and artist and song stand out is the very unique mix between pop and rap. On a level it almost reminds me of pop music of the highest quality, such as One Republic, on the other hand the classic hip hop influences like Drake are also present.

You’d think that the other tracks from Kype couldn’t possibly be on the same level, but you’d actually be wrong. Very, very wrong. His second track that I checked out is called ‘I just feel Alive Again’ is a little more electronic with an awesome beat giving this track even more depth. There are also several comments under all of his tracks on Soundcloud from people saying that his music is dope and frankly I agree.

The third track I listened to is called ‘Blue Balenciagas’ and this track has a nice slow vibe to it and is almost a little old-school in terms of the instruments used. Once again this is Hip-Hop at it’s finest and I can easily see this being played by a large audience all around the world.

And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better I listened to the next track called ‘Open Letter’ and this track is actually freestyled! The comments on the Soundcloud track speak for themselves on this one! People are saying that this is ‘FLAMES’ and ‘Dope’ among other things!

The fifth and final track I listened to is called ‘Put My Fire Out’ and the line ‘You can’t put my fire out’ sure goes deep and a lot of people will understand what he is talking about in this track. Once again this is an amazing mix of pop and Hip-Hop and all in all I can only recommend you go and check out Kype!
