I don't think the point is about Dtube competing with Youtube. The whole idea is about decentralizing vs centralize. Youtube is now controlled by big corporation and government and they keep censoring the content that they don't like either it's the truth or not. Facebook has the same policy that's why we have steem to replace it. Governtment will keep pushing their way to control us people and our revolution has started with decentralize and block chain technology.

Decentralized platform free us from slavery, cryptocurrency is the first step, decentralize everything else is the final goal. It's finally the time for us people gain back control of our future, no more someone high up who tell us what to do.
