Day 22 of 31 days of #ADVENTUBE // Q: On your opinion, what happens after life/death?

in dtube •  6 years ago  (edited)

a question from @travelling-two who left some questions in the comments some weeks back. i did not really have an answer for this but i try and operate in what's in front of me and reality. i'm sure other people in the group with have some good answers however for this one today especially because @travelling-two had asked the question originally.

it's quite the intense question for the christmas period because just getting through the christmas dinner period with all the family gathers can be intense as it is right? it's all a little full on to say the least, crazy christmas energy over the end of the year, start of a fresh one.

i've really enjoyed turning up each day and finding videos for me to edit, it gives me like a nice little bit of editing downtime for me to put together your collective story, the days can fly past that it gives me a bit of a release when to build a story and narrative around it, so thank you to everyone who has helped and assisted so far this month!

don't forget you can join the adventube channel over on discord (https://discord.gg/r5vx6Ks) if you want to maintain comms during or after the 31st, we also have a group for accountability for 2019 if your wanna keep your projects on track!)

the question today was. ..

On your opinion, what happens after life/death?

Consider these when posting your video

  • 16:9 landscape works better for an editor than portrait (but i'll still include it if you make it that way)
  • don't watch the others in the day until you have uploaded yours (let your internal voice come through)
  • there is no right or wrong way to answer the question
  • aim for 1:30 > 3:00 minutes maybe, but if your on a tear, go for it, i'll pick out the awesome stuff
  • always think sound quality, be aware of background noise (bad video is fine if the audio is super clean)
  • this is an empowerment network, treat it like it's the last node network on planet earth.

looved loveeeddd watching all these responses brought me back to my philosophy major days in college- great question @travelling-two, if it's something that freaks you out discussion and exploration is the best place to start :)

"Who the fuck knows!" well said @shawnporter :D

@dayleeo yes it's great to discuss it out in person and explore what the possibilities are. It's something I was more freaked out when I was younger, but as I grew older its subsided, yet its still there as I gain more happy memories and don't want them to suddenly disappear.

maybe your forcing the notion that they disappear. maybe if you use your intention to celebrate the idea that they are forever instead of assuming death is blank/dark then that's hardly something to aim towards. it's what feelings you leave behind in the hearts of others you should consider.

Good point and way to see it! I am naturally a positive person, so that sort of thinking of death should come about. I'll start implementing celebrating lasting impactful moments... A part of me left in others and our connections that we take with us.

do we ever truly leave if they live on the hearts and minds of others. especially when they tell others about us? it's eternal.
