Ok, so they said it was a bug/error that a whole swathe of crypto content creators got removed from the platform — seems like a perfect time to add a bit of confusion into the mix right, either YouTube knew about it or it was some kind of system manipulation, either way, it shows that the speculation economy leaks into the frustration economy into the distraction economy, it’s a perfect way to cause mass confusion inside of the ship and then effect the price and news feeds about crypto over the christmas period.
Maybe, who’s to know either way, when are we going to actually call time on centralised video hosting platforms being able to be manipulated or change the algorithm whenever it suits them and the demands of the advertiser — do we just keep running things down into the ground and just keep filling the gap for the latest common story denominator and just have reaction videos reacting to themselves in some meta faux video kaleidoscope, I mean, who fucking cares? am I right? I don’t care if I’m not.
The skinny here peeps is that things are changing and they are gonna change fast so expect some YouTube crypto coin news or some kind of ‘google’ experiments with blockchain technology announcement the moment big content creators figure out they can make their own platforms, host their own communities, build out their own frontends and then their supports can spin up their own frontends on their own hosting and get incentivised to get paid for their best comment that get’s the most traction.
