we need to get steem on taskopus style micro tasks mturk style setup!

Kind of an interesting story this one, and just goes to show how someone influencing you to check something out can take you down a rabbit hole and then you pop up the other side and be like, well of course that’s how it’s gonna turn out! :)

https://freelanceforcoins.com was a link that was shared with me a few weeks back and since then we’ve actually done work there, well actually @dayleeo has, did the job, turned it around in twenty four hours and got paid in crypto quickly (which led to finding out an old crypto card did not work btw) and then pushed me to get a new card from wirex (see @cryptocards for that story) so we could see what the newer crypto balance cards could do and how they worked — how we could align the invoicing side up with the actual payment side etc.

Anyways, random tangent. .

It appears the VO was for a product that was gonna be launched and comes from the same maker of the freelancer for coins (at least that’s what we think) and well, they just pushed a very early alpha and I have to say it works really darn well for what they have so far — I’ve always loved the idea of some kind of amazon mechanical turk (or mturk for short) setup for micro tasks in the cloud paid in crypto, it’s a no brainer! :)

I was always thinking about how people could take what upward have and build a similar system powered by payments on steem, that could really get those transaction numbers moving aside from just games which ebb and flow and constantly need new content to be appealing, sure they are great but we need more business being done to attract the fat cats right? :)

So yeah, I stepped through, did the tasks, it was easy and while I got paid next to nothing for those tasks right now (in alpha) it worked perfectly and was easy, makes me think that for all the people wanting micro task work that we have a user base of people ready and willing to go — especially for if I can just hire a team of people to do my little micro chores I hate to do.

I think I’m going to put up a basic task and a price and see what happens, see if I can find 100 tech you tubers that I can reach out to about block-review.com — kinda neat when you think about it?

p.s. …

thinking of making ‘widgets’ for my desktop for steem, I’d love some ideas in the comments about things you think I should show, I guess the first one would the price of steem and such? Maybe I can make a little panel to connect to the api of steemapps? OOOoo all of the widgets! :)
